How do you measure success, what does success means to you?
It’s difficult to quantify things I care about most: health, family, fulfilment and having choices in life. There is no universal benchmark on success, I strive to be true to myself and to be a better me today than I was yesterday.

 

How do you keep employees engaged and motivated?
I witnessed good and bad management styles when I was a junior lawyer. So it is clear to me what works and what doesn’t.  I like to lead by example, allow employees to grow (aka don’t micro-manage), identify and resolve issues early.

 

What is the best career advice you’ve received and why?
You are not just working in your current role, you are practicing for your next one.

How do you manage work life balance?
I search for stimulation with my work. I like to reward myself with travel and very spicy food.

Share a book/person that has most influenced your career or life? And why?
A legal partner at my previous work place. I was really inspired by his down-to-earth management style and his ability to have authentic conversations with staffers of any seniority. That is what I strive for.

When did you join Tricor & Why did you join Tricor? 
I joined Tricor in February 2017. I was asked to set up the corporate secretarial practice in Australia and that was exciting.
