How do you keep employees engaged and motivated?
I often think about what makes my employees come to work each day. Being fairly remunerated is of course key. However, there are many other factors, such as giving recognition for a job well done, providing opportunities to learn a new skill or take on an exciting client engagement and keeping open lines of communication to encourage ideas sharing and two-way feedback.
How do you manage work life balance?
At work, I am focused on building the Australian business and taking care of my employees and clients. After hours, I like to switch off from work and spend quality time with my family. Since moving to Sydney, I have enjoyed refamiliarizing myself with the Australian way of life after 25 years away and travelling around what is truly a vast continent!
When did you join Tricor & Why did you join Tricor?
I have just celebrated 25 years with Tricor Group. I joined legacy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hong Kong in 1997 and have ridden the wave of transformation and growth ever since. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to relocate to Sydney in early 2020 to lead the Australian business.
